Practical
Week 1 / Exercise 1 / Editing Exercise
Same as the tutorial in the class, the only difference is the sequence of the footage are not in order. Applying the skills and knowledge learn from tutorial into the practical. Some of the footage has incomplete audio, making it difficult to recognise the correct sequence. I recall that I'd seen this advertised, so it was available via the internet. Thus, with the assistance of the full version of video on online, the final outcome is finished rapidly.

Understanding of Tik Tok
It is a platform that helps users to constantly promote their videos. Whether it's in the business sector, talent, entertainment, or personal experience, video topics are all accepted and given exposure to the masses. Personally, I think it's the fact that everyone has the opportunity to get exposure that makes it so popular with users.
3 favourite videos
This video is created by a cinematic video producer and photographer from Japan who named himself omi_kim. This video is main subject was the edited visual neighbourhoods in Osaka on a rainy day. It brought me the effect of entering a post-apocalyptic world where technology is too advanced and visually polluted.
It is a dance performance video by dance team from Philippines. From this video, they showcase their great talent in choreography, which is crucial for every dancer as well as for dance. They use only one viewpoint, but maximise its visual impact.
I like how the sound has edited with more echo and base. I have make a comparison between the original audio from youtube which is Jamie Duffy - Solas and the Tik tok video. The sound editor gives a more immersive experience both visually and aurally.
They all have one good thing in common, catching the rhythm correctly. And it give a good expression of the theme respectively.
Week 2 / Exercise 2 / Editing Practice
The footage is provided which have the start of the shooting part until the cut. So, we have to trim out the necessary part and compile them together. The final trim reference of original video also provided as reference, but it contains of 45 seconds, Mr Martin requiere us to trim shorter to 35 seconds.
