Project 2: Motion Graphic
Instructions
Individual Task
1. Motion Graphic - Practical 1
Technique and knowledge in this tutorial:
a. Composition Setting (adjust timing)
b. New Solid Colour
c. Null object
Mr Martin used a song named "P!NK - So What" as an example to show us the kinetic typography using After Effects.
Mostly, the process of making the kinetic typography is the use of NULL object to move the whole lyrics compositions.

2. Animation Chart
There are three categories of chart: pie chart, bar chart, and line graph. According to the assigned list, I was assigned to part D which is the line graph. The tutorial below was completed based on the slides given.

The figure below is the question of the practical and we are required to rearrange those given information into an animated line graph. I have referred to one of the additional materials provided that is related to the line graph in order to complete the said practical.

This is a tutorial on how to use position and scaling, mainly about bounce effect.

The video I done fulfilled all the requirements above with addition of opacity and rotation expression. The parameter used in the rotation expression are depends on the rotation speed required. For instance, the rotation speed of the background elements used the parameter of time*90.

Kinetic Typography
In order to complete this assignment, we are required to form a group and choose a song to perform the kinetic typography.

We have come out with a list of 4 songs and finally decide to use the song "As it was" by Harry Style for our assignment.

4. Progression
To avoid being too tedious, I also decide to add some illustration into my part. Figure 4.1 is an example of my illustration of a palm. As I was in charged of the introduction part, I have tried to involve only simple animations. I used the NULL object to move the lyrics compositions. Figure 4.3 also shows the used of rotation expression to emphasize the rotation of the disc.

5. First Draft
After first compilation of the parts from our group members, we realized that some parts are missing. These are due to some incomplete parts by our group members.
