Instructions
Instructable Infographics Poster
We are required to do an infographic poster for ONE recipe selected from Pasta Grannies.
Study one video, breakdown and chunk the preparation and cooking process into an instructable poster. Try to capture each Grandma’s personality and unique dish identity in your poster as part of the narrative structure.
After 3 second, I decided Mara's Tiramisu Recipe as Instructable Infographic poster.

Figure 1.1 is the initial idea after multiple times of reviews on the recipe. However, as the complex step in making tiramisu. The poster looks too compact with my initial idea. Hence, after some visual researches, I have found some other relevant samples for my composition and layout references. Then, I draw out whatever that came up my mind and I have come out 3 sketches. I feel that they are not that organize and set apart from each other. Thus, I combine all this three sketches into one as final sketch.

Feedback
- Mr. Shamsul: You might want to focus on the important things that you want to include in the poster
- Mr. Hafiz: Have you assembled it into one poster. There are a few parts here and I can only imagine what it would look like.
Next, I started with the illustration of the assets needed. The assets were then arranged in the poster. Besides, I have also tried to restore the white tiles at the kitchen background and the red table square cloth on the table. However, the colour of the table cloth does not suit the theme of the receipe.

Feedback from Mr.Hafiz
The text should be bigger. The instructions are too small. You can make space for it by reducing the negative space. Also the Tiramisu looks a little shrivelled. Do also include the quantity for the ingredients.
In progression 1, I didn't like how the plate look and I agreed to what Mr Hafiz said about the Tiramisu. I also have asked some feedback from my sister on the Tiramisu, she felt that the tiramisu is a bit rough, can add more detail on it. The reason I didn't like the plate is because it does not suits the feeling of Pasta Recipe which is more traditional type of plate. I picked pastel colour as my colour theme, I like how the colour interact with each other. The main colour in colour platelet is brown that suits the ingredients used and taste about Tiramisu.

In progression 2, most of the assets has been finalize, only the Tiramisu still in progress.

Lastly, I make some changes on the font size and the size of the tiramisu as well as adding some shadow to highlight the main subject after received the feedbacks. Additionally, more details were added to the tiramisu to make it looks real and the colour of the table cloth were changed to suit the background.
Instructable Infographics Animation
Requirement:
- Max 60 seconds infographic video
- 720p: 1280x720 pixels (H26/mp4) published on YouTube
By using the assets from the poster, the aesthetics and narrative of the poster with movements, SFX and music were captured into a 60 secs motion graphic.
First, the composition of the animation are arranged in AI, followed by the keyframe and motion in After Effects. With the aids of tutorials and skills learned from the previous assignment in Information Design, I have successfully came out final Instructable Infographic Animation as shown below.
